NHS Trust Headquarters
Sandwell & Walsall PCTs

Highbury Design have a long track record of working on headquarter facilities for NHS Trusts, individual CCGs/ICBs and private healthcare organisations.  This work often involves new build facilities but can be innovative building conversions, with the largest facility to date the complete refurbishment of Lloyds Pharmacies headquarters facility with 1200no staff.

At Bloxwich Lane in Walsall, the existing ambulance station was converted to the local NHS Trust headquarters in Walsall, with departmental offices centred around a two storey atria core with breakout area for hotdesking.

At Sandwell PCT, following designing a new build intermediate care centre for the Trust which was only the second Procure 21 scheme in the country at the time, the existing office facilities at Kingston House were re-planned with electronically bookable hotdesking space to create a flexible accommodation model. This scheme won a national interior design award. Recent projects include Herefordshire General Practice or Taurus Healthcare where a new headquarters is being created for 140 staff with a separate new clinic facility.
