Working nearly 15 years for Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust, Highbury Design were instructed to review all fifty of the primary care and mental health Trust’s sites from Bromsgrove in the north of the area of jurisdiction, to Ross on Wye in the south, in respect to the maintenance of the landscape areas. 

The company were involved in surveying and undertaking drone photography with design schemes to make good underutilised areas or spaces which could provide therapy use for patients. This work included providing details of hoe enclosed courtyards could be refurbished and enhanced, and then maintained such as Kidderminster Hospital and Evesham Community Hospital, whilst tender proposals were put together so as to tender on a framework the Trust’s landscape proposals to contractors. 

Work also included creating wild meadow habitat environments in line with the Government’s initiative to improve the biodiversity value of assets.
