CV of Chris Reed

 

Graduating from the Universities of North London and Plymouth, having served five years as a Royal Marines Commando, Chris was elected as a Corporate Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2001.

 

Chris's early career developed within a large commercial practice in the South West of England, project managing works under Term Commission for the Ministry of Defence, several Private Finance Initiative schemes for the National Health Service, and through the SureStart Early Years programme.

 

Chris's latter career has been spent overseas: designing bespoke housing, and a fjord-side hotel and conference facility in Norway; and administering construction contracts for banks, offices, and private clients in the Cayman Islands.

 

A passionate triathlete: when not competing Chris can be found grinding out the miles along Worcestershire's country lanes, and open-water swimming wherever the bye laws permit!

 

A father of two, Chris joined the practice in 2009 and brings 20 years architectural experience to Highbury Design.
